Having had a house at the end of the island for many years, from time to time repairs and upgrades to the fabric need to be made. As we live in London it is sometimes not easy to find tradespeople to take on the work, but thanks to an advertisement we saw last summer in the Guth we have been very impressed with the quality of work carried out and the way modern technology has allowed us to follow the progress. Neil Walker has been able to take digital photos of the work as it has proceeded and email them to us, so we feel as if we were on the spot. This is a fine example of Barra delivering value for money, and using the Internet to reach out to people not lucky enough to spend all year on the island. Thank you Neil.
